Abductee

An abductee is a person who claims to have been taken against their will, most commonly in the context of alleged Extra-terrestrials or U.F.O. related encounters. In Paranormal and ufology discussions, the term is often used to describe individuals who report experiences involving Alien beings, missing time, medical examinations, or transportation aboard unidentified spacecraft.

Historical Context
The modern concept of the abductee became widely recognized during the mid-20th century alongside increased public interest in U.F.O. sightings. One of the earliest and most influential reported cases involved Betty and Barney Hill in 1961, whose story popularized the idea of Alien Abduction in modern culture. During the 1970s and 1980s, researchers in ufology and Paranormal studies collected numerous similar accounts, often involving hypnosis, recovered memories, and recurring descriptions of Extra-terrestrial beings.
