Case

When a request is accepted for an investigation a case begins. Though many mistake the investigative process, itself as the case.  The investigation piece is just but one stage of a case. Each case begins with a preliminary gathering of information. This is followed by a stage of research and planning in which background information is obtained, investigation dates are scheduled, and teams of investigators are organized based on their skill sets and their availability.  After the investigation has been finished, evidence review begins and the legitimacy of more compelling audio or video evidence, as well as subjective experiences, is discussed and debated among team members. The background information, the review and debated evidence as well as the collected data are collated into a cohesive report that presents the findings to requester and offers a final determination for the case. Pending the request for further investigation from the client or team, the case is then considered “closed” at this point.
